However it isn't always necessary to spend the entirety of your savings on a wedding and for anyone interested in pursuing a low budget wedding, there are a number of options that you can pursue. Cheap Wedding Reception The biggest savings that can be made when planning low budget weddings are with the reception. The huge cost of a new wedding dress cannot always be justified. Many bridal shops carry a large range of previously owned dresses that can be hired or bought for considerably less than new. There is no doubt that a bride wants to sparkle on her big day but there is no reason why she cannot do so in a previously worn dress. Wedding Photographs and Photographers As far as the photographer is concerned, why not hire one only for the service. Online Personalized Invitations If you're on a budget and looking for less expensive wedding stationery items, then you might want to look print-at-home stationery. There are many online stationers that will offer this service free of charge and all you will be required to pay for is the paper and envelopes. You may not feel comfortable using your home computer at first but this is a very productive use of your time as adjustments and corrections to suit your requirements can be made without any visits to the printers. Wedding Flowers Flowers can be another expensive outlay especially with the cheaper alternatives on offer; why not buy wholesale flowers, or pick flowers from your garden and buy plain gold or white gold bands as these are the least costly. Wedding cakes are another costly item but this can easily be made by a friend. These days, people often experiment with fillings that aren't reliant on fruit. The Wedding Transportation Luxury limousines, although impressive, are costly so ask someone you know if you can use their car to make further savings. They may even own a luxury car of their own. With a little imagination and flair the cheapest weddings can sometimes be the best weddings. There is no reason why cutting back on some costs should lead to a cutting back on the day's enjoyment. |
